The images provided by participants may be used for the following things

-The Book (One World One Photograph) - Photo's will be printed inside a 11 x 13 inch photobook produced by Blurb.com as a one off copy. THe photo's will be printed on a single page or a double page spread. The Book itself will be a one off copy and no other copies will be made.

-Photo-wall (based in Birmingham City University) - Will be a wall space inside Birmingham City University containing all the self portraits of the contributors. The prints will be 6 X 4.These prints are being used as part of the body of work.

-Video Documentary - A short video documentary will accompany the artworks to show the thoughtprocess behind this project. The video may contain some of the images from the book.

-Poster promoting the project. - Some images may be used in a promotional poster to get moreartists and non artist involved in the project.

All the rights to the images will remain with the person who provided the image. By agreeing to let One World One Photo use your image for this project you are providing consent for the useof the image and not the sale of the image. One World One Photo is strictly non-profit. Your images or copyrights will not be used at any point to create profits for myself or other.

Why One World One Photograph and Why get involved.

My idea behind OWOP is to bring together the talents of those recognised artists and non artists.Art today is controlled mainly by those that have had a formal education based in an art school.Yet it is apparent that there are incredibly talented people who take photographs, paint, sketchmake sculptures who aren't trained artists. I want to put these people side to side with thosewho are 'ARTISTS'.

The images on the pages will be accompanied with only the place the participant is from. (Full photocredits will be given at the back of the book) This is to take away what effect a name has on something we see. Many works of art may be praised and glorified simply because of a given attached with it. My project is to break away with this.
